How big are the bouncers?

Most of the backyard size units are 15’x15′. To see the sizes of each unit, refer to each unit, as sizes are listed. Allow for about 4 feet more on each side of the unit for enough space.

How many children can fit in a bouncer?

Generally speaking, between 6 and 10 kids at one time, safely and comfortably. Bouncers come in several sizes so you may want to check the feature page of the particular unit you’re interested in.

Are the bouncers clean?

Yes. All Jersey Jumpy units are thoroughly cleaned between each use. We are committed to making sure that your children have a clean, healthy, and safe environment in which to play.

In addition to cleaning, we also safety check and troubleshoot all equipment before it goes out to another client. This way, you are always guaranteed a unit that is safe, clean and in good working order.

What about rain?

The Jersey Jumpy’s rain policy allows you to cancel your order up until three hours before your scheduled “event time” on the day of your party if it is raining at no charge. Please call at least three hours in advance and leave a message (which is automatically date/time stamped).

Can you set up indoors?

Yes. All of our units are able to be set up indoors, space permitting. We can also set up in gymnasiums, halls, churches, or any other area that can accommodate the size of the game.

If I need to cancel my rental, is there a penalty?

Yes. We charge a $50 penalty for any event cancelled 7 days prior to your party. In the event of bad weather, no penalty fees occur.

Do you deliver to my area?

Jersey Jumpy delivers to most of New Jersey. Please contact us to see if we service your area.

Do you set up in parks?

Yes. Please be aware of your electrical needs. Most parks do not provide electrical or water sources. We do provide generators for electrical power at an additional cost.

How much room do I need?

Our units vary in size. Please check the inflatable product page for the size of your unit.

If you’re not sure what size your yard is, you can measure it or “walk it off” heel to toe in a man’s shoe (it’ll be about 1 foot per step) to approximate. If you can imagine two parked cars side by side in your set up area, most likely we can fit the unit of your choice in that area. Also, most 2 car driveways can accommodate most units. Don’t forget your vertical clearance! You’ll need an area free of low wires, about 16-17 feet high for most of our inflatables.

How much room do you need to bring the bouncer in?

A standard walk through gate is fine. We bring the unit rolled up and wheel it in on a standard hand truck (dolly). If a person can walk through, we can fit most of our games through too! Please be aware that some of our games are extra large and require more access space to your set up area.

Can you set up on my driveway?

Yes. If you have a 2 car width driveway, most likely our bouncer will fit. A slight slope is not a problem.

Typically, we like to see the entrance of the unit at the top of any slope (so the kids fall into the unit). It is necessary to secure our bouncers at all four corners.

Does it need electricity? How much does it use?

Yes. We will bring a 50’ extension cord with us, so you’ll need an outlet within 100’ of the set up area.

Any electrical outlet more than 100’ from the game is hard on the unit and requires an electrical source (i.e. generator) within 100’ of the unit.

What time do you deliver and pick up the bouncer?

Rental periods vary depending on your needs. You decide on the specific time you want the bouncer operating and we’ll be there between 30 minutes and 3 hours before that start time. Special arrangements can be made if you need to leave by a certain time, just let us know.

How far in advance do I need to order?

Our inflatables are available on a “first-come, first-served” basis. In some cases (i.e. holidays, graduation nights, etc.) our inflatables are reserved 4 to 6 months in advance.

Don’t wait until the last minute. We suggest 6 – 8 weeks before your scheduled party date for most of our bouncers. However, we sometimes have inventory available for last minute bookings, so be sure to call us.

Can I keep in the inflatable overnight?

Yes, in some cases. The inflatable must be set up in a backyard or an area that is secured. Please be aware, the customer is responsible for the safety of the game while it is in their possession. reserves the right to deny any event of this service. also reserves the right to cancel the over night portion of any event at any time if we have reason to believe that our property is at risk of injury, theft, or scheduling conflict.

Is it cheaper if we pickup the bouncer ourselves?

No. In fact, does not allow customer pick up of our bouncers. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are the exclusive installer of our equipment. Where the safety of your children is concerned, it is always best to leave it up to the professionals. In addition to this, the liability insurance that we carry does not permit unauthorized set up or moving of our equipment.
